Hiya, Bobbie and everybody! It’s gorgeous here today. I went to Placerville yesterday. The owner of the embroidery shop suggested going to Google Images for possible embroidery ideas. Just download, outline, enlarge, etc. etc. [I was thinking to punchneedle a bear or butterfly. Painless!] So I looked for “black bears” and got quite a few really gross pictures of grinning hunters and very serious dead bears. The bears were all finer specimens than the men. So I tried “living black bears” and got only one hunter and one other gross picture, but lots of Tahoe lodge livingrooms, a ball team, and quite a few not-bears like puffins, tigers, etc. The second try did have a lot of cubs. The first try had a lot of moms with cubs. One picture could have been the folks putting L’il Smokey in his den. And for kids, you can turn an image into a line drawing for them to color with crayons. Also this might be a resource for LTWC for training material, etc.TOMMY!
